They'll determine whether they can treat you within their scope, or take the next step to a virtual care appointment.
An on-demand virtual appointment is booked for you
Your pharmacist books it. Join by video in the pharmacy's counselling room, or on your own phone from another private location of your choice, with a nurse practitioner typically on the call within minutes.
Care delivered
A refill sent to your pharmacy, a medical note, or a treatment plan. You'll now have a secure My Pharmacist NB account with your medical chart. Your Connected Care referral can be shared with all your primary care providers, if requested.
You decide where to join the virtual appointment
Your pharmacist books the virtual appointment either way. Where you join is your choice: in the pharmacy's counselling room, or on your own phone from another private location of your choice.

Step into the pharmacy's private counselling room and join the virtual appointment there, with your pharmacist close by if you need them.
On your own phone
Your pharmacist sends the virtual appointment to your phone, so you can join from another private location of your choice once the referral is made.

A secure My Pharmacist NB account is created the first time your pharmacist refers you. From then on, you can access any and all of your appointments in one place.
